Both our devices Playtron and TouchMe use USB 2.0 to communicate with music-making devices. Let’s take a look at how to connect them to your mobile devices.
What do I need?
It’s very simple: all you need is your Playtron or TouchMe, your mobile device, a USB cable, and an adaptor. The adaptor is the most important piece because it can change depending on your mobile device: if you have a recent iPhone, it won’t be the same as an old iPhone or a Samsung.

How to connect my device to my mobile phone or tablet
Once you have your adaptor, follow these 3 simple steps :
- Connect your USB cable to your Playtron or TouchMe;
- Connect your adaptor to the other end of the USB cable;
- Connect the adaptor to your phone.
Now you’re ready to play some music!
Note: on Android devices, your Android device should be running at least version 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later. Earlier versions are not compatible with MIDI. Check your device’s version on its settings.
