- Purpose of Grounding: The Playtron requires grounding to function, as it operates by completing an electrical circuit using positive and negative ends. This is safe due to low voltage levels that are imperceptible to users.
- Method 1 - Crocodile Clip to Ground Pin: Attach one end of a crocodile clip to the Playtron's ground pin (a gold, sharp corner) and hold the other end in your hand to ground the device while touching the object.
- Method 2 - Crocodile Clip to Ring: Connect one end of the crocodile clip to a ring, wear the ring, and then touch the object to ground the Playtron.
- Method 3 - Clip to Clothing: Attach one side of the crocodile clip to a part of your clothing that contacts your skin, like a t-shirt or pants. This method is especially useful for live performances as it hides the clips.
- Method 4 - Clip to an Object: Connect the crocodile clip to any object of choice (e.g., an orange) and touch the object to ground the Playtron. This method allows for flexibility in object choice for grounding.
