How to use Koala with Playtron.
To use Koala sampler with Playtron you should open the new project, go to settings, and then choose MIDI and be sure that the MIDI mapping and MIDI velocity is off. Then you should see that MIDI note offset is set to C1 that's all you need here.
Go to general and deactivate hold to record button, which means when you press the key on Playtron, it will automatically start recording a sample.
Koala for Mac

Koala for PC
Marek says it is a super rough port of koala for windows.Β I would really appreciate itΒ if you tried it then let me know whether it works or not usingΒ this form
Note: The only way to import sounds at the moment is to drag wavs from the desktop/explorer to the pads in Koala.
Sample packs from Playtronica
In the following folder we collected five popular packs for Playtron in Koala format. Here is what you will find:
- Koala songs, upload then to your desktop app for Mac
- Koala projects saved for mobile app (iOS, Android). Upload then on your iOS app.
- Raw samples, use them to drag and drop to a new Koala song. That should works for desktop Windows version. Please mention the Windows app support is still in the process
